Sacred Contracts: Paths of Transformation

In her groundbreaking book “Sacred Contracts”, Dr. Caroline Myss outlines how we can identify and utilize the archetypical energies of our lives. Working with four survival archetypes, common to all individuals, participants identify an additional eight archetypes, which aid in their life’s journey. By identifying these 12 archetypes and how they are at work in our lives, we can begin to make conscious choices that respond to life rather than react to it.
Kate has trained with Caroline Myss for two years and is certified to consult with and to teach this exciting and insightful technique allowing individuals to recognize the patterns that impact their personal and professional lives.

The Art of Going Within: Mixed Media Expressions of Soul

This class draws upon the rich traditions of the ancient mystery schools as well as contemporary spirituality to explore the inner landscape of the soul.

In this workshop we embark upon the journey of going within. Art is an expression of what is inside of us. Through this directed process, we will work with selected topics related to how we both experience and relate to the world. Each session will include a guided meditation to facilitate opening to the topic of the day. We will explore how these topics resonate in our lives and how to express them in visual form. At the end of the session we will gather to share reflections of the journey. This is not a technique workshop, although techniques will be discussed. The objective of this workshop is not Great Art; the objective is discovering how to connect with patterns and thoughtforms and manifest them into visual form. It is not about the end result; it is about the process.

This is a mixed medium workshop and students are required to provide the collage materials (magazines, stickers, etc.). There will be materials available for use and purchase during the workshop.

Jay & Holly's Wedding

Recently I had the honor and privilege to officiate the wedding of Jay and Holly. Coming from different religious backgrounds, Jay and Holly were looking for a spiritual ceremony that honored their backgrounds but was inclusive to all in attendance. Borrowing from Jewish, Christian, Hindu, and Native American traditions we crafted a ceremony that was uniquely theirs. As an ordained minister of Universal Ministries, I was able to accommodate their request. It was a beautiful day on the beach in Coronado California and a ceremony to treasure forever.
